About

Built for events that depend on trust.

Vertex Ventures Group exists for gatherings where timing, judgment, and visible details all matter.

An elegant outdoor reception setting with flowers, lights, and guests near the water.

Planning and execution with a clear point of view.

We support organizations that need more precision, continuity, and judgment than an already-busy internal team can provide alone. Our work is grounded in event operations, clear coordination, and respect for the people and relationships involved.

The best events are rarely just about the event itself. They reflect the organization behind them, the people in the room, and the standard the client wants to set. They can also introduce the right people, strengthen visibility, create momentum, or mark an important shift. That is why we focus on clear communication, sound judgment, and delivery that feels deliberate from start to finish.

Beyond Ordinary is not about excess. It is about care, judgment, and doing the work properly.

The Vertex story

It began with a conversation.

Tim Gast, Founder and CEO

Early in his career, founder Tim Gast met an event producer on a flight. The producer was returning from Germany after bringing executives together around a consequential negotiation, using a carefully designed experience to make a difficult business conversation possible. The idea stayed with Tim: the right environment can change what people are able to accomplish together.

After building experience across M&A, events, and relationship-driven work, Tim created Vertex Ventures Group to put that belief into practice. The company has evolved beyond spectacle toward something more useful: strategic events shaped around purpose, people, and the operational discipline that earns trust.

We support executive summits, conferences, brand launches, private receptions, investor or partner briefings, retreats, signature fundraising events, and other gatherings where reputation, relationships, and execution all matter.

Do you provide full event planning?

We can support end-to-end planning or specific parts of the process, depending on what your team needs.

Do you work with committees and volunteers?

Yes. We can establish clear roles, decision points, and follow-up so boards, committees, staff, and volunteers stay aligned without duplicating work.

Can you help with sponsorship and auction workflows?

Yes. We support sponsorship coordination and auction logistics, including tracking, organization, and delivery support.

Do you offer on-site support?

Yes. On-site support can include run-of-show leadership, vendor coordination, guest flow, schedule management, and real-time issue resolution.

Are you a fundraising strategy firm?

No. We are an event planning and execution partner, not a pure fundraising strategy consultancy.

Can events support business development or brand goals?

Yes. The right event can help introduce a new brand, strengthen relationships, create visibility, and support larger business goals when the strategy and execution are aligned.

What makes Vertex different?

Vertex connects the reason for the gathering to the practical work required to deliver it. Clients get direct communication, disciplined planning, and an experienced partner who stays close to the details.

How do we start?

Email events@vertexvg.com with the event type, likely timing, and where support is needed. A few sentences are enough to start.

If the event matters too much to feel standard, bring in a steady hand.

We work best when expectations are high, the timeline is real, and every detail needs to feel considered for the people in the room.
